ANNE McCORMACK RI SWA

Anne originally studied graphic design and began her career in the world of advertising, before a complete career change led her to obtain 
a teaching diploma and subsequently lecturing in Art and Graphics.

Anne was elected to the SWA (The Sopciety of Women Artists) in 1994 and served as vice president for two years. Her work has been selected for exhibition at the ROI (Royal Institute of Oil Painters), the RI (Royal Institute of Watercolourists), the RWS (Royal Watercolour Society) and at the Royal Academy Summer Show.

Her paintings have won the 'best in show' award at the SWA. Anne achieved 100% acceptance at the 2006 open exhibition at the RI and went on to win the award for 'the best figure painting' in the show and has since been elected as a member.

Anne works predominately in oil and acrylic specializing in  figures, interiors and still life in a contemporary style.
