CAROL ORWIN

Carol studied at High Wycombe College of Technology and Art, and at St Martin’s School of Art. Studio at the Barbican, London from 1974 to 1977.

She has exhibited widely and has work in collections inIsrael, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, America, Canada, Denmark and Holland.

Carol is an Animalier, interested in the muscular form, movement and power, and nature of the animal that she models. Works in clay, then makes a rubber silicone mould for a limited edition of casts, usually only 25 in the edition. Casts in Polymer resins using metal fillers such as bronze, brass, copper, pewter, and also marble. Patinates them in various acids to give each piece a unique finish.

Pieces are also available cast in foundry bronze - prices on application
