MATTHEW ALEXANDER RBA

Born in Kent in 1953 into an artistic family (his father was the noted painter and art teacher Christopher Alexander) 
Matthew was trained at First Canterbury and then Maidstone Colleges of Art, finally completing his studies at the
University of London.

Matthew's first exhibition was held in 1973 - a joint show with his father and his brother, Gregory, also a professional painter.

Since then his work has been the subject of many solo and joint exhibitions is some of the most prestigious galleries in
the UK, USA and Europe.
