SARAH ADAMS

Sarah studied Graphic Design at Medway College of Art before realising that her true vocation lay with botanical 
and wildlife painting. She then enrolled in the final year of a wildlife illustration course at the Dyfed College of Art 
in Carmarthen. After graduating with distinction in 1979 she was immediately enrolled by a top London Artist’s 
Agents.

For the next few years she illustrated all sorts of wildlife for publishers, advertising agencies working for numerous
clients including, The Oxford University Press, Which Magazine, Usbourne Books and ICI.

She has botanical illustrations in the Kew Garden archive and in January 2004 she was awarded a Gold Medal 
at the  Royal Horticultural Society for a series of 8 botanical paintings of Rhododendrons.
