Stuart Smith was born in 1975 and studied art at Maidstone and Bretton Hall University of Leeds, where he gained a 
BA (hons) in Fine Art specializing in painting and printmaking.

He now concentrates on still life, bringing a contemporary twist to a traditional subject.
